Erin
Siggard is a creative strategist with a special expertise in contextual commerce
and brand integrated environments for both online and offline initiatives.
Initially beginning her career in the offline world as a fashion designer
and merchandiser, her work spans across the brick and mortar world through the
online and digital world for product development, content development, marketing
strategies and business development with a special expertise in cross media
campaigns.
To
date, Erin has contributed to over two dozen interactive titles, including
projects for the Web, CD-ROMs, and kiosks. Her clients include major media
companies, Fortune 500 corporations and educational institutions. Among her
recent projects is Wishlist.com, a
large-scale customer service utility and Website produced by Wishlist.com (www.wishlist.com).
Another recent Web venture is KVEA.com,
a Spanish-language portal for the Latin community in Los Angeles produced for
the local television station (www.kvea.com). Erin served as Chief Strategist for
the project's research phase and helped to secure the stations largest media-buy
for a three-way cross promotion involving the television station, a live event
and web campaign with Star Media.
Among
the better known "edutaintment" CD-ROMs she has contributed to are
Seven Days in August (Warner New Media), an interactive documentary of the
fall of the Berlin Wall; Life Maps (Warner
New Media), based on the interactive
museum exhibit in San Francisco; and The
Orchestra (Warner New Media). Other
CD-ROM titles include Gold Rush, Hell
Cab and the Gulf. She has also
consulted for such companies as KCBS, Rez.n8, Luckman Interactive, Internet
Sciences, Destiny Marketing, and Milken Family Foundation.
Erin
has been a featured speaker to non-technical, senior executive level audiences
for the new technologies, including What
Every CEO Needs to Know About the Internet for the annual Board of Directors
meeting for Newell Rubbermaid. In
addition, she has created curriculums for UCLA’s new media extension program
and taught new technologies for California Design College and Woodbury College
for fashion students.
Erin is currently working on innovative marketing strategies for a lifestyle destination start-up that is set to launch early next year. In addition, she has been developing, high concept commerce and riche media content strategies for the emerging iTV, broadband and wireless markets.
