Brian Dyches is the president of Retail Resource Group, a Laguna Hills, California based, internationally-recognized consulting firm. Mr. Dyches utilizes his 20 years experience in wholesale manufacturing, specialty and chain store retailing to provide his clients with a unique combination of retail understanding and design expertise.

Prior to founding Retail Resource Group in 1992, Mr. Dyches was the general manager of 14 resort retail stores for South Carolina's Beach Business Group, a top-grossing retailer specializing in upscale gifts and fashion lines. As general manager, he was responsible for store operations, store personnel and product merchandising strategies. In 1988, Mr. Dyches was named district manager for the 28-store Public Image chain of men's casual and dress wear based in Los Angeles.

Author of 50 Visual Merchandising Ideas For Under $50 and The Visual Merchandising Workbook and Planner, Mr. Dyches is a recognized authority on state-of-the-art design strategies, consumer behavioral patterns, and retail marketing strategies. His editorial columns appear regularly in Women's Wear Daily/DNR Specialty Store Newsletter, and he has contributed to a wide range of leading industry publications, including Visual Merchandising + Store Design, Outdoor Retailer, AQUA, Florists' Review, Truck Accessory News, and The Carlson Report. Mr. Dyches has been interviewed by numerous news organizations including The Washington Post, Financial Times of London, Los Angeles Times, The Orange County Register and Shopping Center Magazine.

Through the Retail Resource Group training and seminar services division, Mr. Dyches has been a guest speaker for The National Retail Federation, The Retail Show-Australia, Stockmann-Gruppen Denmark, American Express Mexico, National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM), North American Retail Dealers Association, Dema Asia, The California Mart, The Atlanta Market Centers, SEMA, to name a few. He has addressed more than 20,000 attendees at 180 seminars, conferences and workshops, with the goal of increasing sales and customer service by utilizing state-of-the-art design techniques and resources.

Mr. Dyches also works directly with varied clients to perform center evaluations, retail store evaluations, design concept development, buildout planning, and implementation of retail support programs for manufacturers.
