Linda has been extremely active in the retail design field since 1971 specializing in
Display, Store Design, Visual Merchandising Consulting, Retail Graphics and Training. She
has worked with every type of product from sewing machines, major appliances, travel agencies,
luggage, computers and electronics to haute couture. Her experience includes major department stores,
specialty stores, electronic/appliance chains and small privately owned stores. Author of a textbook -
"A Practical Guide to Visual Merchandising", Prentice Hall, Linda also taught VM at Parsons School
of Design for 12 years (1983-1995), wrote custom VM manuals for Saks Fifth Avenue, American Express,
Singer Sewing Machine Company, Lancome, The Taubman Company, Aramark, Armi Studio and
Totto (Bogota, Colombia). Linda consults for major malls around the country and for individual stores
both nationally and internationally. She also creates total store designs, renovations and
visual merchandising/display programs for all types of retail companies.
